The Ontario Geothermal Association

The Ontario Geothermal Association is a not-for-profit corporation registered in June 2009, helping to advance Ontario’s geothermal energy industry. We link consumers and government with geothermal energy system designers, drillers, installers, equipment manufacturers and distributors. We voice the province’s interests for a greener, cleaner and self sustainable energy source, high standards, assurance and public protection.

On April 16h, 2013, HRAI and OGA entered into an affiliation agreement that makes OGA a chapter of the HRAI organization and strengthen both associations’ position in the provincial and ultimately the national geothermal industry in Canada.

The Heating, Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Institute of Canada (HRAI), established in 1968, is the national trade association representing more than 1360 manufacturers, wholesalers and contractors in the Canadian heating, ventilation, air conditioning and refrigeration industry. HRAI members provide Canadians with the products and services for indoor comfort and essential refrigeration processes.  HRAI has three (3) industry sector Divisions; HRAI Manufacturers Division; Wholesalers Division and the Contractors Division.
